VGGS is a community that promotes Christian faith in the Anglican tradition. The chaplaincy department enjoys operating in a magnificent bethel chapel which bears the inscription “surely the lord is in this place”. These words reminds us of our duty to God and humanity. We also gain an assurance that the good shepherd is watching over us.
The department’s duty is to accentuate Christian values in the institution. We have programs that are geared towards; being rooted and built in the knowledge of God hence, offering the society with God fearing leaders and firm Christians who will not be swayed by every form of teaching. Our Christian faith permeates every aspect of the school since we are guided by the words of Jesus Christ “…If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit, apart from me you can do nothing” (NIV John 15v5)
